Sleep is essential for your overall health and well-being. Our Sleep Study services are designed to help diagnose and treat sleep disorders that interfere with quality sleep and daily life. Whether you’re experiencing excessive daytime sleepiness, snoring, trouble breathing at night, or other symptoms, our experienced team is here to support you every step of the way.

What Is a Sleep Study?

A sleep study, also known as polysomnography, is a non-invasive overnight test that records your body’s functions while you sleep. This includes measuring brain waves, breathing patterns, heart rate, and oxygen levels to help identify potential sleep disorders.

Why Sleep Studies Matter

Untreated sleep disorders can affect your physical and mental health and may contribute to conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, mood changes, and increased risk of accidents. Identifying and treating sleep disorders early can improve your quality of life and overall health.

Common Conditions Evaluated

Sleep studies help diagnose a range of sleep-related conditions, such as:

  • Obstructive sleep apnea
  • Insomnia
  • Restless leg syndrome
  • Narcolepsy

What to Expect During Your Visit

When you come to our Sleep Lab for your study:

  • You’ll sleep in a comfortable room equipped for overnight monitoring.
  • Sensors will be gently placed on your head, chest, and limbs to track sleep patterns.
  • A trained sleep technician will monitor your study throughout the night.

How It Works

Our process typically includes:

  1. Referral by your provider — Your doctor will determine if a sleep study is appropriate.
  2. Scheduling your — We’ll work with you to find a convenient date.
  3. The sleep study itself — Most are done overnight in our Sleep Lab.
  4. Results interpretation — A sleep specialist reviews your data and works with your primary care provider on next steps.

Insurance & Referrals

Sleep studies typically require a referral from your primary care provider. If you are experiencing sleep-related concerns, the first step is to schedule an appointment with your provider to discuss your symptoms and determine if a sleep study is appropriate.

Depending on your insurance coverage, your sleep study may be completed in our Sleep Lab or as an at-home study. Our team works closely with your insurance provider to verify coverage and obtain any required prior authorizations before scheduling. We’re here to help guide you through each step of the process so you can focus on getting the care you need.
