Dear Friends,
January 1, 2006 Northeast Montana Health Service Charitable
Foundation marked the beginning of a new venture for Northeast
Montana Health Services. I am glad to be a part of such a dynamic
group of people for a very important purpose, community healthcare.
NEMHS Charitable Foundation was created to bring together our
philanthropic interest for healthcare under one umbrella. The
establishment of this private, nonprofit charitable foundation marks
a collaboration of community members across the entire healthcare
system, which included all our communities in Northeast Montana.
I want to thank all donors for your generosity. I pledge to you that
the Foundation will manage your gift to maximize its positive impact
on Northeast Montana Health Services.
Please feel free to call our office at 406-768-6113 should you have
any questions. I value your interest and commitment to our mission,
and I look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Tina Strauser

Spikes & Spurs
The NEMHS Charitable
Foundation was established to enhance NEMHS by financially
supporting healthcare in our communities.
The American Legion Club (Poplar, MT) offered NEMHS the opportunity
to raise money by giving our community an evening with fine food, a
silent auction and top entertainment. The name of the event, "Spikes
& Spurs" was then born. Ladies wore dresses and gowns while the men
dressed in their finest blue jeans, accompanied with suit coats and
ties.
"NEMHS has not been in the forefront of community in a very long
time with that kind of positive impact." said Tom Ault, Northeast
Montana Health Services Chairman.
