I find myself responsible for the largest department at
Faith Lutheran Home. The Nursing Department plays an important part of
each residents total care.
We strive to provide care in a manner that enhances each resident’s
quality of life, including dignity and respect with full recognition of
the resident’s individuality.
At Faith Lutheran Home we provide the necessary care and services to
ensure each resident attains or
maintains the highest practical physical mental and psychological
well-being possible. We are in close contact with the resident’s
physicians who make weekly rounds at the facility. We encourage
residents and families to be open and honest with their concerns, Only
when we are aware of a problem can we solve it.
It has been said that Nursing is a career measured in moments, not
years. At Faith Lutheran Home we strive to make each moment count.
Faith Lutheran Home has been providing unsurpassed care to eligible
seniors since 1962. We are located in
Wolf Point, Montana and offer extended care to residents who require
skilled, intermediate and custodial care. We serve people of all ages in
need of care who expect to return home as well as those in need of long
term care. Our emphasis is on living with the goal of helping residents
return home whenever possible. For long term residents, the goal is
assisting each individual to live as full a life as possible in a safe,
comfortable environment with the help of highly trained compassionate
staff.
The 60 bed center includes a 15 bed
Dementia Unit and an
Adult Day Program
and 25 independent living apartments. Specialized services are available
including those offered by a Physical Therapist, Registered Dietitian,
and Medical Social worker. We also have a remarkable Activity Program
directed by a certified Activity Coordinator.
