Emergency Medical Technician
Northeast Montana Health Services offers Emergency medical Services for both the Wolf Point and Poplar Campus.
The Wolf Point Ambulance averages over 750 runs each year. The Wolf Point Service covers an area from Frazer eastbound to Tule Creek, as far north as Lustre and southbound across the Missouri River. The Service consists of a crew of 3 EMT-B’s and 14 EMT-F’s a total crew of 18 members.
The Poplar Ambulance Service also averages over 750 runs a year. Their service area covers from Tule Creek eastbound to Brockton and Ft. Kipp if requested, north Poplar area and south to the Missouri River. The Poplar Crew consists of 3 EMT-B’s and 2 EMT-F’s and 2 drivers. Currently there are 5 students that will be completing the classes and testing in the near future.
All of the State of Montana licensed EMT’s have received further training which are called endorsements. With these endorsements our Ambulance Services can rotate from a Basic Life Support service and Advanced Life Support Service. This is a great service to the community.
Northeast Montana Health Services offers selected EMT classes starting with the First Responder and advancing to the Basic Level.

Certified Nurse Aide Classes |

Certified Nurse Aide classes are offered at
Northeast Montana Health Services 3 times a year in the months of
February, June and October.
Classes are Monday –Thursday from 8am-4pm. In the
Education Room at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point.
The class are divide into two aspects the classroom
and clinical
The 60 hour class room section and a 30 hour
clinical section.
The classroom section is taught by Sharon Dschaak
LPN who has been teaching for 10 years. The clinical section will be
under the supervision of the Professional Nursing staff at Faith Home.
The Program Manager is Joann Hibl RN-C.
Applications are available one month in advance of
the class at the following locations, Trinity Hospital Front Office,
Poplar CAH Front Office, Faith Home Front Office, The Wolf Point Job
Service and The Wolf Point Work Program.
You will need to be 16 years of age, currently
enrolled in High School, or have a High School Diploma or a GED.
